CONSUMER UNITS
We can move or replace your consumer units with a modern 18th edition compliant unit, Complete with miniature circuit breakers and RCD protection for a safety.
The new style boards eliminate the need for the old-style fuse wire, with one flick of a switch you can restore power to any circuit at any time, there’s no messing about in the dark with a torch trying to repair or replace a broken fuse wire.
All consumer unit installations come with certification by us and our governing body NAPIT.
LIGHTING
We can design supply and install most types of interior and exterior lighting from display lighting in shops to office lighting. We install all types of low energy lamps and fittings that can ease on costs and help the environment, and with the recent development of these fittings they produce the same amount of lights as the equivalent standard lamp/fittings. We also have experiences in special colour changing systems that that can be greatly utilised in restaurants and shops for warming effects. We can also bulk buy lamps to prevent prolonged absence of light and reduce on running costs.
POWER CIRCUITS
We can design and install ´clean´ supplies for computers or servers that are separated from other circuits. This means that if the sockets in a building go down, your computers etc won’t be affected by the disturbances, which helps to prevent data loss. Skirting or dado trunkings are a good way to providing power to offices too as you can keep data cables separate to prevent interference, but still have both socket and data points (phone, modem etc) next to each other. We can also provide this service in floor-mounted boxes.
EARTHING
We cover all of the earthing from main TT systems (generally farms and out of town properties) TNC-S and TNC systems to supplementary bonding of steel structures, trunking, machines and other accessible metal objects. We can bring current earthing systems up to date and in accordance with the current electrical regulations (BS7671:IEE Wiring regulations).
We also cover the equipotential side of earth bonding, such as the cross bonding of pipework to the sinks, baths and central heating systems.
DATA/STRUCTURED CABLING
The data cabling infrastructure can be designed to individually suit the client's site and needs. Systems can be installed to category 5e or category 6 standards.
Customers can be advised on the standards according to the requirements of their business.
MOVING OR CHANGES
We can supply and install, or remove additional outlets or patch panels to any existing systems, and we can test and fault find existing installations to get your system up and running again.
Through one of our trade partners we can supply and install phones and phone systems that will all run through your structured cabling system
