CONSUMER UNITS
We can replace your consumer units with heavier duty single phase or three phase consumer units depending on the buildings supply, or simply just move the existing one to its new location. All consumer units comply to the 18th edition. These all come complete with miniature circuit breakers and RCD protection for your safety.
The new styles consumer units eliminate the need for the old-style fuse wire, with one flick of a switch you can restore power to any circuit at any time, there is no messing about in the dark with a torch trying to repair or replace a broken fuse wire.
All consumer unit installations come with certification by us and our governing body NAPIT.
LIGHTING
We can install many types of lighting associated with industrial practice from warehouse lighting to security floodlights. We can install specific working area lighting for use in conjunction with machines or special applications or just general space filling lighting.
POWER CIRCUITS
We can install power systems for all types of applications from basic 13A socket supplies to independent 3 phase machinery supplies. These can be used to separate a power demand and make it easier to repair/maintain the independent circuits.
TRUNKING SYSTEMS
We can install cable trunking to and around the workplace. This is a good way of getting power to all parts of a building especially in a warehouse type application. We can work with both plastic moulded trunking or with a slightly more substantial metal trunking. Along with dado/skirting trunking in office sections, this method provides a long lasting and well-protected alternative to direct clipping.
EARTHING
We cover all of the earthing from main TT systems (generally farms and out of town properties) TNC-S and TNC systems to supplementary bonding of steel structures, trunking, machines and other accessible metal objects. We can bring current earthing systems up to date and in accordance with the current electrical regulations (BS7671:IEE Wiring regulations).
We also cover the equipotential side of earth bonding, such as the cross bonding of pipework to the sinks, baths and central heating systems.
